GTA V's First-Person Mode is Pointless

GTA V's First-Person Mode is Pointless

It's been more than a year since Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online released, yet the highly requested implementation of online heists are still missing from the game. Over the year we've gone from hearing next to nothing about it; being told it's coming soon, then learning it'll come in an update after the current-gen versions release. Contrary to the hopes of a late December release due to a rumor of the content's date , however, eager GTA Online players will have to wait until 2015 for the online heists. Specifically, 'early 2015.' The teasing (and lengthy waiting) contin

For plenty of gamers who plied their trade in Grand Theft Auto 4 , Niko Bellic just wasn't much of a relatable character. Thankfully, someone thought of a great idea - why not replace him with a giraffe, which is clearly a more relatable character for the average person. The video above demonstrates exactly why giraffes are kept in cages - because let loose, their murderous killing streak and godlike strength ascends into something far, far more horrifying. The way the giraffe's neck stiffly defies physics, coupled with the fact that gamers are, you know, playing as a giraffe as they murder and steal cars, make this mod eerily unsettling to watch. Between those 5 modifications lies the inspiration to every Tim Burton film. From the lands of Skyrim to Liberty City in Grand Theft Auto , there's a variety of things like giraffes and retired wrestlers ready to pull off the ol' jump-scare. While there's thousands of horror-themed game modifications out there which can achieve the same effect, it's a special feat when a mod achieves the ability to be so creepy unintentionally. From us here at Game Rant, we wish you a Happy Hallow

In the hopes of delivering a message to Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive, fans of the OpenIV modding tool have amassed over 40 thousand signatures on their Change.org petition . The petition states that thousands of players have both lost the ability to mod their game and to pursue their passion for single-player modd

Minecraft is no stranger to user-made modifications, and plenty of horror-based modifications already exist for the recently-acquired property . However, one game modification which wasn't intended to be scary in any way ended up outdoing them all, and we're not ashamed to say we may have fallen out of a chair when we first heard this mod. When one man set out on a quest to make the Minecraft creepers sound like the character Lemon Grab from Adventure Time , he unknowingly created a noise that would make even Herobrine think twice about ever stepping foot outside in the dark ag

At launch, there will be five separate heists, comprised of at least 20 missions. Heists will, of course, be replayable, allowing players to try out the different roles and maybe, just maybe, understand what it's like to be the getaway dri

Eduard Khil's 1976 rendition of an old song saw a viral resurgence in 2010, where it become known as the 'Trololol' meme for its ridiculous sound and video without context. Though the singer may no longer be with us, that one song is still played as an internet joke to this day. One game modder decided to replace one of the enemy NPC sounds in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. with the jovial music, which sounds like a simple change on the surface. However, anyone who watches the video from start to finish can tell you that when the players hear the monster's music coming, unsure of its direction and amidst the darkness, pants are sure to be filled. As the music gets louder and louder, we don't blame the YouTuber for running the opposite direction - the last thing someone ever hears shouldn't be the Trololol s

And while it seems that OpenIV modders encouraged the team to fight, and may have been lumped into the sum of modding tools that alter the game's code, the team behind OpenIV recognized the futility in entering a legal battle with the publishing ti

It should be clear that though the modders who make use of OpenIV may not be using the tool to impact the experience for other players online, the shutdown of modding tools by Take-Two Interactive does not distinguish between the tools that affect the multiplayer experience and those that do not. We will be following the story for updates concerning the closing of GTA 5 vehicles|https://gta5play.com/ modding tools, as well as possible statements to come from Take-Two Interact

"Myself, and other members of the LSPDFR and GTA modding community ask that OpenIV be allowed to continue distributing and running as a modding software, and that the modding of the Grand Theft Auto series, including SA, IV, and V be deemed legal again as Rockstar Games has said in the pa

The first-person mode includes a new cover system, a traditional FPS control scheme, along with auxiliary features like new animations. It aims (no pun intended) to deliver a new perspective on Grand Theft Auto, a series that until now has focused entirely on a third-person perspective. The trailer illustrates many highlights of Grand Theft Auto V like taking out street assailants, jumping a train on an off-road vehicle, and even shaking an enemy off the wing of a plane. The new perspective makes moments like piloting a jet fighter different, with aiming displays and cockpit views all in tow. It definitely adds another take on Grand Theft Auto V.Unboxing GTA 5 for PS5: Where’s the Map⁉️
