Everything New In Apex Legends Season 5

Everything New In Apex Legends Season 5

For the longest time, the Hemlok was seen as a burst assault rifle that should only be used as a last resort. In Season 5, however, it has quickly ascended in the meta to be a clear and decisive top ten choice. The Retrofitted skin makes the gun feel even more high-class and pairs nicely with the numerous new legend skins the season introduced. Whenever you pair a maroon color with gold and black accents you're already playing with house money in regards to creating a design people will want to acquire and eq

The Evolved Flow skin for the Peacekeeper is appealing in a very unappealing way. As a skin, it's a little messy and chaotic, click over herebut for some reason, it works on the Peacekeeper. This is likely due to the shape of the shotgun and helps the design feel more like a gradient and less like a mashing of two separate desi

The alternator has an increased mag size and the re-45 has a damage increase and a reload time decrease. For the full list of weapon changes, see h

If you're familiar with the Syndicate in the world of Apex Legends than chances are you've at least heard of Revenant. During his introduction to the game, players witnessed him kill Marcos and Alanza Andrade, the people who happened to be Loba's parents. At the time she was a witness to the entire event, despite being no older than 10 when it happened. This has given her a lifelong mission of vengeance and she hates Revenant more than anything else in existence. Their relationship when on the same team is less than ideal and 100% uncomforta

Sometimes in games, it feels like cosmetic items are universal and meant to work with a variety of characters, and sometimes it feels like they were made for an unnamed perfect pairing. The Gilded Hunt skin for the Charge Rifle definitely feels like the latter as the aesthetics of it magnetize it to the engineering legend, Wattson. The stark white coloring with subtle patterns makes it feel more like a tool and less like a weapon. Considering she dabbles with electricity, maybe the Charge Rifle is Wattson's preferred gun of cho

Imagine being the greatest hitman in one of the most dangerous crime syndicates to ever exist. Before he was turned into a murderous robot, that's exactly what Revenant was. For 300 years he's been carrying out hits for the Syndicate and has functioned as more machine than man through

Loba's Ultimate Ability can actually be used against them. All players can access Loba's weapon teleporting device whether they are on that player's team or not. This means that if players happen to run across an enemy Loba's device they should try to stock up on a couple of things that are missing from their inventory. Additionally, if players are in a high loot area and see an enemy Loba, they should pick up any good loot they can find before their enemy can use their Ultimate and steal all of the epic and legendary g

The Mastiff has received a nerf to damage, fire rate, and spread. Fully kitted, it feels a lot like the original Mastiff though, and with an increased projectile speed the gun is going to be an absolute monster to play agai

Some may scoff at this entry as both the skin and weapon seem to not be befitting of this list at first glance. The Hemlok has come into favor in the Season 5 meta, so it belongs on this list in some capacity. As for the skin, it's a tougher sell. Is it easy on the eyes and heavily desired? No, not really. It does however feature an organic looking design that makes it look unique and also plays into the lore of the franchise as a whole. With all of that considered it seems that the #7 spot made all too much se

In Season 5 the Wingman still isn't a top tier weapon in the game, but it is nice that it saw some love via skins. Every season the game tends to end the battle pass with a pair of skins for a specific weapon. The most notable was when the R-301 Carbine received a pair of rhinoceros inspired skins, with one being gold and the other silver. The Wingman received the same treatment and its Precision Caliber skin happens to have a flashier golden design, whereas its counterpart which we'll get into later is a lot more sub

It's unclear whether this legend is tied to the Syndicate, Hammond Robotics, or both. It could also end up being a legend tied to neither, but maybe one who was experimented on and had the ability naturally, before they infused Revenant with

Earlier the sister-skin to Attention To Detail, titled Precision Caliber was discussed, and it featured a design that was much more flashy. For Attention To Detail, it's a skin for the Wingman that focuses on looking a bit more practical, but still being flashy enough to be coveted by players. It's a reward players receive for reaching the maximum level of the Season 5 battle pass which is neat. The only bummer is that the Wingman currently isn't a top tier weapon in the ongoing meta of the g
