Is More Convenience in Games Always Better?

There are drawbacks to convenience in real life and it’s the same for video games. Despite their photo-realistic looks and often good gameplay, many modern games fall into the trap of being too convenient. With the games handling so much, little is asked of players, and Iron Banner quest that’s kind of a shame. Some of the best experiences in gaming come about when players have to do things for themselves.

The second perk Guardians will want for Glacioclasm in PvP is Projection Fuse, which also increases the weapon’s range. The farther away fans can fire this weapon and do some impactful damage in the Crucible, the more likely they are to get that kill and live to tell the tale. Staying far away, particularly for Hunters, is one of the best ways to utilize Glaciocl

It must be said that classic Halo isn’t necessarily better than a game like Destiny 2. It had matchmaking issues and a progression system that was at least a little, if not very, broken. It also offered players little reason to play outside of simply enjoying multiplayer. It also suffered from feeling "same-y" after a while. Players didn’t have their own personal armories and, until Halo: Reach hit the scene, everyone always had the same basic abilities. Compared to Destiny 2, Halo offered players little in the way of personal options. If one was to find an edge, they had to either do it through power-ups, clever team tactics or just pure skill.

Like any good shared world experience, **Destiny 2 ** has brought back a seasonal event to give players some festive bounties, cosmetic items, and weapons to perk up their holidays. Titled The Dawning, the event is scheduled to conclude on January 5, 2021. While most of the new expansion, Beyond Light, has been ominous with the focus on Darkness and the new Stasis subclass, The Dawning offers a reprieve from the constant snuffing of the Li

The primary perk players will want for the Avalanche in the Crucible is Dynamic Sway Reduction. This lets players improve accuracy and stability when they fire the Avalanche continuously (holding down the trigger). While this is less useful on PC given the advantages of using a keyboard and mouse, it is much more beneficial for console players. That does not make it irrelevant for PC users, howe

Bungie's argument for not creating a Destiny 3 hinges on the idea that they don't want you or them to start over. It would be a strong argument if not for the fact that Destiny 2: Beyond Light feels like a reset. In the blink of an eye, Bungie has removed four worlds, countless strikes, numerous pieces of loot, Raids and entire questlines from the game. Europa is new, the Cosmodrome from Destiny is back, there's one new Strike, a new Raid and a few new enemy types, but that's not enough to cover what was lost, especially since that was all paid content.

The Dawning continues in **Destiny 2 ** and Guardians are adding holiday bakers to their repertoire. The "Great Destiny Baking Season" is showing players that Bungie wants them to be more than slayers of Taken, Cabal, Fallen, Vex, and Scorn, but also glorified food couriers, at least until January 5, 2021 when the event concludes. However, gamers who take the opportunity to showcase their baking skills and deliver holiday snacks to their allies across the Destiny 2 universe will earn some returns on their investme

This means Destiny 2 has an ever-changing meta-game, and players are always trying to find the build that gives them the best edge. There’s nothing wrong with this kind of system, as it still has plenty of allowance for skill and team tactics at its higher levels. Outside of the upper-tier though, Destiny 2 is still very much about sifting through a multitude of build options in order to find an edge. It’s a very different game compared to the likes of classic Halo.

The Avalanche is the machine gun players can acquire during 2020’s The Dawning seasonal event. When players bake one of the Destiny 2 holiday recipes available to them and deliver the treat to the appropriate ally, they have a chance to receive A Gift in Return. This box resides in gamers’ inventory tab and functions as a legendary engram when ope

While Destiny 2 remains in desperate need of a new enemy faction, Bungie has at least provided a new element to master. By delving into Darkness, players can harness Stasis's power, which grants them ice-based powers to freeze and shatter enemies. Stasis is a satisfying addition to the Destiny 2 sandbox, giving players new ways to build their character and fireteams. It opens new ways to play PvE and is the best new addition Destiny's had in years. To make Stasis even better, players can continuously unlock new abilities for the element after the campaign, giving players even more ways to modify the experience to their liking.

Glacioclasm is only available as a loot drop during The Dawning seasonal event in Destiny 2. Players will have to bake some tasty treats to deliver to the game’s various allies and vendors. Doing so will prompt these non-player characters (NPCs) to give Guardians a gift of their own: a Legendary Dawning package (known in-game as A Gift in Return), which can be found in players’ Inventory
