JanuaryWARNING: Don't Get Cheated! My $600 Dress Was on Sale 60 Minutes Later 😡💸
I’m sharing my terrible shopping experience as a cautionary tale for everyone considering this store. I fully supported this business because of its location and dress designs, but the lack of ethical customer service truly left me appalled. I had purchased a dress for a whopping "$600" around 8 pm. I had specifically asked if any sales were running, and the staff politely declined, saying the sale ended yesterday—which was completely understandable. But then, only an hour later, at 9 pm, the store posted a flash sale. I felt misled and cheated, realizing that customer service is very very little and zero to no adjustments. I immediately felt compelled to reach out to customer service to see if they would price adjust me since the post was made only an hour after my purchase, hoping they would value a returning client.
Customer: I am extremely frustrated. I bought a $600 dress less than two hours ago and was told there were no sales. Now I see you posted a major flash sale online just after I left.
CS Rep: I sincerely apologize that the timing of our promotion caused you this frustration. That is truly disappointing, especially after such a significant purchase.
Customer: Disappointing is an understatement. I specifically asked about sales, and the adjustment was refused. I call this poor customer service; I feel that if you can help your client out, you should. This just feels like greediness.
CS Rep: I completely understand why you feel that way. If you have any kind of inquiries concerning where and how you can utilize GraceQueens Direct, you could call us at the web-site. While I cannot process a direct price adjustment, I want to ensure we retain your business. We will issue you a $100 store credit immediately for your next purchase as compensation for the poor communication and the unfortunate timing of the promotion launch.
Customer: I appreciate the immediate offer of store credit. Please ensure your staff communicates upcoming promotions more clearly, even if they aren’t active yet.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
