I wanted to share my absolutely terrible online shopping experience as a warning to potential buyers. I placed an order believing I was securing the perfect item, only to wait anxiously. When a full week passed with no shipping update, I had to call the store myself. The conversation confirmed my worst fears and made me realize how poorly managed the inventory system is. Specifically,

I order a dress online. A week after I called the store cause I didn't get my dress. They told me it was out of stock but when I order online it said available. That was irresponsable.

I immediately felt compelled to demand an explanation from customer service and document this failure here.

Customer: I'm calling about order #105. I waited a week, called you, and only then found out the dress I purchased was actually out of stock, even though your website confirmed it was available.

CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the delay and the major miscommunication regarding our inventory system. That situation is completely unacceptable and reflects poor organization on our part.

Customer: Apologies are nice, but I needed this dress for an event. If you have any questions about exactly where and how to use go to website, you can speak to us at our site. What are you going to do right now to fix this serious organizational issue?

CS Rep: I completely understand your urgency. We can immediately process a full refund, and as a gesture of goodwill, I can also search our custom-made inventory for a similar style that can be shipped to you expedited, or I can provide a 25% discount code for a future purchase.

Customer: Just process the refund immediately. I cannot risk another situation like this, knowing the inventory status online is unreliable.
