DecemberFable 3: Every Demon Door (& How To Open Them)
There's clearly already a good amount of shared structure between Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain , the last game in the series developed by Kojima Productions. However, with as much DNA as these two titles share, there is one feature that isn't common between the two that Death Stranding 2 should chan
Fable has an added layer of depth to it that many other similar RPGs didn't at the time: its morality system. In reality, the morality system at play here really only comes down to your character becoming good or evil, with some gray area in between. While it might not be as nuanced as the system employed in the Mass Effect series, Fable wants you to think about how your actions affect the world of Albion and its inhabita
You may end up walking away with a special piece of armor stolen from the shop, but you won't be welcomed warmly by the citizens the next time you enter their town. It's possible to bribe those guards with some extra coin, but your crime will ultimately lead to your morality level taking a
Bluepoint Games is the studio behind what is arguably the PlayStation 5's crown jewel at launch, the highly-rated Demon's Souls remake. Bluepoint has made a name for itself as one of the best studios when it comes to remastering and remaking games, having done so in the past with a number of other PlayStation titles. One of Bluepoint's most-celebrated works is the Shadow of the Colossus remake, breathing new life into the PS2 classic by dramatically improving the visuals. Shadow of the Colossus has been given away as a free PS Plus game in the past, but for those that missed out on the opportunity, it would be nice to see it added to the PS Plus Collection on PS5 as w
That's the name of a great-grandaughter of Henry VII of England, who was infamously known as the "Nine Days Queen" because she only ruled from 10 July 1553 to 19 July 1553, after which she was beheaded for high trea
Let’s also remember that Fable 3’s dog companion extends far beyond the contemporary "Can you pet the dog?" phenomenon that seems to have been adopted as a marketing tactic for new and upcoming games. In Fable 3 you can teach your dog tricks, and 30 seconds later it will rip an enemy’s throat out. This disparity is par for the course for Fable 3, which is a game that seems to have amassed every existing genre into its massively hodgepodge makeup. Fable 3 is The Sims. Fable 3 is Dishonored. Fable 3 is Grand Theft Auto. You can use your magical affinity to protect innocent people from hordes of vindictive monsters, or you can pump the rent prices in Aurora up so high that people can’t even afford to buy vegetables in the worst place on earth. You can marry someone, absorb their assets, and then file for immediate divorce. They won’t be happy about it, and the game’s morality system will have its due impact on you — but you can do it. It’s a life simulator, a fantasy RPG, a tycoon management game, a rom-com, and every single thing in between. Sometimes it’s too much — how do you even begin to reconcile all of that in a coherent way? But most of the time it’s actually genuinely smart. It’s just not Fable 2, and people — including 14-year-old me — hated that.
Thankfully, most of them are simple to find as they're marked on the game's map. But it's not possible to simply stroll through them. A person has to fulfill special requests to get the doors to open. Unfortunately, most of the requirements are very vague, which is why they are often regarded as one of the more annoying things in the game . But players who do get through them are rewarded with some useful goodies and an achievement. Here is how to open them
Should you opt for a pure good and angelic route, your character will literally develop a halo as the game progresses, with NPCs reacting to you in a more pleasant manner. If you decide on an evil and diabolical route, be prepared to sprout horns instead. NPCs will want nothing to do with you, sometimes even cowering in fear as you walk by t
Another big 2020 game for the PlayStation brand was Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima . A brand new IP, Ghost of Tsushima is a gorgeous open world samurai action game that has quickly become one of the PS4's most-celebrated exclusives. Sucker Punch has continued to support Ghost of Tsushima since launch with the addition of a co-op mode, and by bringing it to the PlayStation Plus Collection, Sony could ensure that the game's online community stays active. Ghost of Tsushima being such a new release is likely the main reason why the game isn't part of the PlayStation Plus Collection on PS5 right out of the gate, but maybe that will change in the months ah
Fable is the type of RPG that begs not to be rushed. There is a staggering amount of content to dive into when first starting the game. The opening village of Oakvale simply lets you run around aimlessly, chat with people and play with the chickens, should you wish to do that instead of continuing on with your quest of saving Alb
