I felt compelled to share my terrible shopping experience so others might be warned. I drove to the store, excited to buy a high-quality hat, but the atmosphere was shocking. I stood there, ready to spend money, while employees completely ignored my presence. My immediate and firm conclusion was:

Poor customer service! 7-8 workers and no one acknowledges you!

That level of neglect completely ruined the visit, and I felt I had to engage with customer service afterward because the experience was so unbelievably frustrating and disappointing.

Customer: I am extremely disappointed by my visit yesterday. I was in your store for at least ten minutes and not one of the many staff members present acknowledged me or asked if I needed assistance.

Customer: It felt like I was completely invisible. I counted seven or eight people working, and I left without even being able to try on a hat because no one seemed willing to help a paying customer.
