Assessing acoustic exposure from document production devices is an important step in ensuring employee well-being. Loud operation of document machines can increase risk of noise-induced hearing loss, reduce productivity, and exacerbate job-related tension.

To carry out a professional noise survey, catalog all noise-emitting printing equipment. This encompasses digital printers, color printers, copiers, and binding and cutting units.
