League of Legends Champion Guide: Aphelios' Weapons & Abilities

For Season 2, everyone will start as Bronze IV, but Respawn has suggested that in future seasons, there may be a starting placement based on how far you managed to climb in the previous series ("series" being the term they are using to distinguish competitive season from general content seaso

Factoring the lore into this equation, each champion should only be available for use on one team or the other. While this isn’t a factor in the more competitive game modes, players in the "blind pick" modes (as well as certain other limited game modes) can enter the game fighting against another player using the same champion they have cho

Blizzard, rather than come to a compromise to benefit all parties, chose instead to abandon KeSPA and partner with Global StarCraft League (GSL) . The decision was catastrophic from the start, as KeSPA prohibited its member teams from participating in any StarCraft II competitions. The best talent in the world was effectively prevented from playing in any tourname

Many champions call the void home. These champions range from monsters born in The Void such as Rek’Sai to "The Prophet of the Void" Malzahar. Champions who carry the banner of The Void tend to have shadowy moves rooted in darkness and evil. But if the league exists to settle disputes, why welcome champions of this mysterious place of darkn

It'll be difficult to get accustomed to Aphelios' laning phase. He starts with Calibrum and Severum and doesn't learn his Q until level 2, so depending on the lane players will need to adapt to two different playstyles. Summoners can either play aggressively to hit level 2 first, or be overly defensive and let the enemy laners push until Aphelios can get level 2 safely. What makes Aphelios strong is his versatility. Players will need to adjust their main and off-hand weapons of choice based on lane matchups. Use Calibrum (Sniper Rifle) when the lane favors poke and harass. Severum (Pistol) and Infernum (Flamethrower) are strong against defensive lanes giving Aphelios sustain and pushing power. Crescendum can be used to provide huge damage during a gank while the crowd control that Gravitum (Graviton Cannon) provides can be used both offensively and defensiv

Both Marvel and DC have seven films scheduled to release between 2020 and 2022. Marvel is giving Black Widow her first solo movie in 2020, even though the character was killed off in Avengers: Endgame . Black Widow will be followed by Eternals , a cosmic superhero epic which features a star-studded cast. 2021 will be Marvel's busiest year yet with four movies: Shang-Chi and the Legend Garden Of Terror Map the Ten Rings , Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness , an untitled third Spider-Man movie, and Thor: Love and Thunder . As for its 2022 slate, Marvel's only confirmed film is Black Panther

Each change has caused a lot of frustration with players, sometimes resulting in key players permanently leaving the competitive scene. Qualifying is a long and arduous process, often involving the final days of a month spent playing for most of the day simply to retain a top spot - rewarding a grind more than actual skill. In addition, there is no official tournament client of the game. A disconnect between two opponents results in a match being replayed regardless of how far ahead one player was,, which has led to some controversial outcomes. There's also the fact that in the past few years, Blizzard has leaned hard into design philosophy centered more around RNG and less around skill, driving some pro players away from the game entirely - as seen when Lifecoach left the competitive sc

You will be rewarded 1 RP for each kill you get up to a maximum of 5 RP per match. Remember: these need to be confirmed kills, so make sure you are finishing off your opponents once they are knocked down. This is somewhat controversial as the system incentives you to thirst your opponents when it otherwise may benefit your team to focus fire and eliminate the entire enemy squad together. Wins will get you the most bang for your buck, so don't risk a potential win just to get one more RP for a k

Crescendum (Chakram): Can't auto attack again until the projectile bounces back, but when returned, it resets his basic attack. Casting abilities creates copies of the chakram which then strengthens his basic attacks based on the amount he's hol

With Aphelios' 5 weapons, two teamfights will never play out the same. The way he wants to approach a full 5v5 or a small skirmish will depend on his current main and off-hand weapons. The Calibrum, Infernum, and Crescendum Moonlight Vigils are very strong during developing teamfights, especially in small areas. The AOE damage and healing can win fights single-handedly. He can also use the AOE crowd control from his Gravitum Moonlight Vigil to initiate or disengage a fi

Outliving your opponents means your squad needs to survive at the very at least until top ten, or half the other squads have been eliminated. If you make it to ten squads remaining, you will receive 2 RP, make it to final five for 4 RP, and survive until top three for 7 RP. Farming top ten and top five finishes may seem like an attractive and easy method to rise through the ranks, but isn't engaging the enemy so much for fun that stealthing your way to the finish? Get out there and fi
